Installation:
- Construction of the base consisting of asphalt base courses or binder courses with an asphalt paver
- No need to apply a bituminous emulsion as a bonding course
- Installation of the porous mastic asphalt with an asphalt paver
- No need for additional compaction by a paver or roller (only subsequent smoothing with roller)
- No need to apply crushed gravel
- The surface can then be finished depending on the subsequent use, e.g. shot peening to increase initial skid resistance
